climate change/ What is Deforestation

 Kia oranna my name is Nitika, Fakalofa Atu my name is Sumuree,  and Talofa lava my name is Eve. 

Today we have been learning about climate change which took us 3 weeks and 2 days.

 Our topic we have chosen is about deforestation. 

 

Some Reasons why people cut down trees is to help build Houses,

Sometimes People cut down trees to clear land for (agricultural means more land for animals btw) . In some cases, Trees are cut down for soil which is to make food sources, and to make plant group 

Sumuree- What is Deforestation and how does it affect the world?

Deforestation can be bad but then can be good, The bad thing is… Some time Deforestation is not just about cutting down trees. In my opinion is Deforestation it’s about HOW we treat mother earth by not showing respect. Some people think it is funny by tagging on trees, burning trees down and breaking branches. The good thing is…. Trees are the best because how do you think that we got Apple's, Avocado, PNuts and lemon but there more. Trees are good because they help give us home to sleep in, Be grateful that you have paper to write on, . Just know one thing, TREES ARE NOT SOME TYPE OF TOY TO PLAY WITH, TREES ARE HELPING US, AND THEY ARE THE ONE MAKING YOU Breather.

One question about trees: if people cut down trees will we have oxygen?

Another question we have for you is about the natural habitat of animals like monkeys, orangutans and more is will they still have a home? 

 

The reason we ask this question is because when the trees are gone where will the animals live?  

Eve- New Zealand is where I live and I think that we need to help make more trees. If you have listened, New Zealand has cut down 1 billion trees because we needed it or was it for fun? 15.3 billion trees are chopped down every year around the world. NZ  🇳🇿 has cut down  1 billion trees. Is that BAD??

Different countries have cut down different amount of trees. 

Brazil has cut down 24,521.572 trees, Indonesia has cut down 9,477,646 D.R congo has cut down 4,828,095 and our home,

Today on monday 15 of june.Room 8 made rice bubbles slice.Mariah,Rosie and samuree.

Ingredients 

• 100g Of Butter 
• 100g of white sugar 
• 1TSP of honey 
• 3 to 5cups of rice bubbles.

Firstly we added 100g of butter and then 100g of white sugar after that we added
1tsp of honey & then melted all of them together and after it was all melted we added
5 cups of rice bubbles.Then put it in the cooking trays and let it cold down.30min

For the 1th time I use honey in my cooking.And for the 1th time Rosie use honey in
the cooking.Cooking is something that calm me down. 

It was kinda hard to add the honey as it was sticky.
